Frequently Asked Questions

As A Patient Of Ours, You Will Always Be Welcomed To Our Office!

We value your time as much as we value ours, so you will not have to wait when you come at your appointed time.

The First Question We Always Hear Is… Can You Help Me?

Over the past 17 years in practice we have helped many forms of Musculoskeletal, neurological, and spinal pain. But of course we will not be sure until we can talk to you and examine your condition.

However, we have an extensive collection of testimonials from current and former patients in our office. The conditions we have helped include, low back and leg pain, neck pain, headaches, arm pain, TMJ or jaw pain, carpel tunnel symptoms, ankle, knee, shoulder pain and many other types of pain. You are welcomed to view these at our office.

I did not want my office to be an impersonal Dr.’s office!

I am sure you will note this from your very first visit. You will find us an extremely helpful source of support and information during your time spent at our office. I take great pride in my staff and I guarantee you will find them as helpful and efficient as they are friendly.

We are not yur average chiropractic office either!!

As you will see here, we have the most advanced diagnostic and treatment equipment available. You will not find this type of equipment at very many other offices in Columbus.

We are therefore able to provide quick and gentle treatment. This treatment is as gentle as a tap on the shoulder.

QUESTIONS ABOUT INSURANCE… ANSWERED HERE!!

1. Will my Insurance Cover Chiropractic Care?

These days, insurance coverage is very complicated, especially if you don't know the proper questions to ask your insurance company.

To make things easier for you, we will provide a complimentary insurance evaluation for you. We will contact the insurance company and let you know what your benefits and limitations are before you begin to receive care!

All you have to do is give our office a call at (614) 457-7575

Most insurance policies cover chiropractic care. These carriers, including HMO's and PPO's, recognize that chiropractic care effectively treats many conditions! Recent articles published in the Journal for Managed Care cited chiropractic care as being more cost effective (efficient) than other conventional medical therapies in treating low back pain. It is a good chance that your HMO could also cover chiropractic care.

2. Have You Been in an automobile accident???

Your auto insurance company typically covers auto injuries at 100%. If your accident was caused by someone else, his or her insurance will pay for your care. We usually accept auto accident patients and wait for payment when your case settles. We even know several fair and honest attorneys who could help you with your claim.

3. Hurt on the job??

If you've been hurt on the job, Workers' Compensation also covers our services; we are a preferred provider for the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.Recent studies show that most on the job injuries respond quicker with Chiropractic Care than with other types of treatment!

4. What if I don't have insurance, or if my insurance company offers no Chiropractic Coverage?

If you have little or no coverage, you are not alone! That's why we have very affordable installment payment plans. After your exam and any diagnostic tests, if it is determined that I can help you, you will be provided with a written "Recommended Action Plan" that spells out how much your Chiropractic treatment will cost, how long different phases of the treatment will take, and what options you have, to pay for your care.

At that time you can decide if you want to proceed with care. If not, there is no obligation ever. If you're not comfortable with our Recommended Action Plan, or aren't sure about anything that we suggest, that's just fine! Whenever you're ready, we'll be ready. If you would like to take a pass, that's your choice, and we'll respect your decision with the utmost of courtesy and professionalism.

However, I strongly believe, in the long and short run, it will be more to your benefit to relieve the cause of your pain, and not prolong the injury by taking medications to mask the pain.
